RECA’s Industry Councils give the thumbs up to courses that hit the mark. As for how the course is structured, it’s up to each provider, as long as they meet the requirements.

What are Alberta’s license initiating costs, dues and fees?
- RECA has to receive and approve your Certified Criminal Record Check: $76
- ARIVL will initiate your application with RECA. You will complete your application on your myRECA account. After submitting your application to ARIVL, we will review and approve your application. You will pay the RECA New Licence & Registration Fee $750.00 (Oct 2023).
- We will initiate your Application for Associate Membership with REALTORS Association of Edmonton. Estimated cost is $1,485.23:
- RAE & CREA dues: $595.88
- Keys to Succeed course: $595.35
- CREA initiation fees: $210.00
- Any Current/next month fees: $84.00
- You can get the E-key lease $74.81 at this time to start Keybox access.
- RAE Member Services Hub will enroll you in the next available courses and email you the dates, times and course details once this application is processed.

- AREA’s FINTRAC: Compliance for REALTORS® (Additional cost may be applicable through AREA)

- RAE will also send you AREA’s New to industry AREA dues $1155.00
